Welcome to Kennington Ohio, home of the mighty Kennington High Huskers (State Football Champions five years running), Lily Belle’s Family Diner, and more square mileage of cornfields than can be found anywhere else in the United States. For a while. Most of the kids spend their entire lives trying to escape the town while a handful of the rich come here seeking solace from the hectic lives they once lived. But every once in a while, someone different shows up. Everyone is into everyone else's business and rumors spread like wildfire. Secrets, in this town, are unheard of, though that doesn't stop the majority of the populace from having them. And even more often, closely guarded secrets are dug up. At one point in their lives, all teens must make decisions. They must decide who their real friends are. They must decide to love or lose, to live or die, to be real or hide. Board Voteing Rules « Thread Started on Apr 20, 2009, 5:42am »
Here are the specifics and rules for the voting for member, character, and couple of the month:
1. The polls will open the 20th of every month (or thereabouts) and will promptly close on the first of the month.
2. Each topic will have its own poll created titled with the subject and month/year.
3. You may only vote once (1 per user, not account). Please, don't stack the votes. If I, or any of my reps, find this being abused, it will be taken down and punishment will ensue. You have been forewarned.
4. The staff will post a handful of people we deem adequate for the position per nominations PMed to Benji throughout the month and the community will vote on which the think best suites the category.
5. Feel free to post a comment about why you voted a certain way, but be nice.
6. For member of the month, vote for the member that you think has shown the most dedication and interest in the board that month (for a list of members and their characters click here).
7. Staff are ineligible for nomination for member of the month, but their characters may be nominated for the other awards.
8. For male/female character of the month, choose the character that you like best. Whether it be the idea of the character, how well they are roleplayed, or how interesting their threads have been to read, it doesn't matter. Just choose who you think did the best job that month.
9. For the couple of the month, members will vote for which couple they like best. It doesn't matter what aspect of their relationship you like best, it only matters that you enjoy their interaction.

1) No flaming what so ever.
2) Keep chat speak to a bare minimum, not only does it annoy me, but it clutters.
3) No advertising in the C-Box!
4) Keep discussion here to a low. You can talk, but use PM if you are going to have lengthy discussions.
5) If rules are broken the C-box will be taken away. It is only here for your convenience.
6) Use a single alias when talking in the chat box.
7) Do not impersonate other people, especially staff. That is blatant disregard for others and will be deal with very severely.
